1 room w fire escape and big window in 3 bedroom.

Im Lilly and I have a one-bedroom w a fire escape available in a three-bedroom apartment STARTING IN March 2025. The price is $1250 for just the bedroom, The price already includes Wi-Fi and some utilities. Rent is due the 1st via Venmo or Zelle.

The bedroom has one large window with a fire escape and faces the courtyard. it has a closet that is skinny but tall and deep. I've seen the room with a full bed, a desk, and a small IKEA cube dresser with room to do yoga still, but I'm of the average build at 5'2

The entire apartment is south-facing, and we have Sun all day - I need blackout curtains. Lol. The living room and kitchen are open-space style and have a fire escape. The water pressure in the shower is decent. I’ve got my dream couch, and it’s great to crash on/chill/watch TV. Etc.. I’d love to add more plants or art if you’ve got!

It’s in Bedstuy, Brooklyn, and I’ve lived here for a long time, and I really like it. It would be month-to-month - grocery stores, parks, bars, and trains are all nearby. We are between the gates, and Halsey stops off the J train. We have a courtyard/backyard and roof access, laundry in the building, and central AC/heat.
Roommates: two women in their later 30s. 420 friendly a must.
We’re not party type, but we do go out. We don’t bring the party home.
Brooke only just moved in in September or so and we get along great.

We to give a heads-up if we’re bringing someone over. ;) and expect the same courtesy.

I cook and watch tv often in the common space - I live there, you know. I made the place home and want to keep that vibe, too. We don’t have to be BFFs but friendly vibes are preferred. Im 35, Native New Yorker, My mom lives in Westchester, and I visit often. I like chillin', watching TV, reading, and whatnot. Im pretty Introverted and keep to myself but every now and then I get my extroverted energy out.

You must be friendly. I’d like you to do things and have hobbies, etc., too.: :) I don’t mind cleaning regularly. I would prefer that you also have a hybrid schedule. I don’t care about gender, but I’d prefer an older roommate 30+ on their grind. I’ll say 28+ but very much open to the possibilities!

We’re clean but not OCD. Sometimes, we’ll just smoke and clean Bc it’s something that needs to be done. New York City gets dusty. Small cleans are wiping down counters, sweeping, tidy up. Big cleans are cleaning the couch, moving the furniture, scrubbing. The garbage needs to be taken out regularly. The toilet seat is kept down, then flush - my toothbrush lives there. Shower curtain closed to avoid it getting moldy and gross. If needed, we can create a chore wheel, but I hope we can have a general sense of giving a f***. Dishes have 5 days. I do this because we all have those days. We are all just human. I am open to discussion this, I think 5 days is the right amount of lax but I am open to decreasing the # of days.

I have a little doggie, Reese; she's 12 years old and sweet and cuddly. I'm not completely against another animal, but we must check if the pets vibe plus allergies. I’d want to feel okay leaving Reese at home when I go to work or out. She also doesn’t shed and is fully potty trained - Your baby would also have to be Fully trained - I get it when they are sick, etc., but that’s not what we’re talking about.

I would require proof of income, a valid ID, and a security deposit to hold the apartment.
