Hi, my name is Sahra and I will be moving into an unfurnished 2 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on April 1st 2024. The apartment is super new and fresh and has an in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher. It also has great amenities in the building including gym, roof terrace with a beautiful view, game room, co-working space, lounge, etc. The cost would be 1900 USD per person per month, and it will be a 12-month lease from 1 April 2024 to the end of March 2025. The apartment is in Mott Haven just over the bridge from Manhattan and has great views of Manhattan. Both from the apartment itself and the amazing Rooftop lounge and terrace.
About me: I recently turned 30, and I moved to NYC at the end of October 2023 to start a new job. Before that I have lived in lots of different countries - Kenya, Zambia, Uganda, India, Tanzania, Sweden, Ecuador, Guyana, Jamaica, Ethiopia - but I come from Sweden and Somalia. As you can probably tell already I love to travel! I like to socialize but I also love a chill night in, and I would say I am a pretty easy-going person :) The apartment will be suitable for us to have our own space (own room and bathroom), but we would be sharing the living room and kitchen.
Looking for: I am looking for someone who is also easy-going and friendly, and who likes to have a clean apartment/cleans up after themself. Ideally someone around my age, so in their late 20s or 30s. Most important is to live with someone who is kind and respectful. If this sounds like a good fit please reach out!
