Room for Rent

We are looking for someone to rent out our extra bedroom. It comes with a full bed, desk, and chair, as well as a private bathroom. It's located on the first floor, and includes access to the shared living room and kitchen. The laundry room is right at the top of the stairs.

The neighborhood has street parking with a parking pass system. There's also a community pool and park. The nearest bus route is a little ways away so I would recommend a bike or other wheeled transportation if that's how you plan to get around.

We spend most of our time gaming or watching movies. We occasionally have small parties, and we mostly prefer to cook at home over going out. Two of us work security, so our sleeping hours are odd. We try not to be too loud, and luckily the house has pretty decent insulation to keep sound from travelling.

We have a number of pets, but we try to keep everything clean. Due to the birds we have a few restrictions because of their sensitive lungs. We can't use chemical scent dispensers, and Teflon cookware is absolutely forbidden as it is deadly to birds.

We are not clean freaks, but we do want to keep a minimum level of cleanliness so as not to inconvenience each other. Primarily, nothing blocking the use of the couch or walkways, and clean cookware immediately after use when possible.

Utilities are included in the rent, but may increase during the summer based on the electricity usage from the AC.
