I’m looking for someone to take over the rest of my lease (through 8/20/2024) in a Newport, Jersey City, NJ apartment as I need to move out of state. I’m flexible on move date, but said person can gain access to the apartment as soon as 12/23/23.

The room is in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment on the water. Close walk to the Newport and Exchange Place PATH Stations, you can easily get to Manhattan within 15 minutes. Monthly rent would be $2,397.50 plus utilities. There are options to add a parking spot or storage unit to the lease as well for additional costs.

Some amenities of the apartment: elevator, in-unit washer/dryer, roomy walk-in closet, dishwasher, pool, outside grill areas, residence lounge, tennis courts, racquetball courts, basketball courts, weight room, cardio room, 24-hour on-site maintenance, package acceptance, trash/recycling on every floor, garbage disposal, ice maker in the freezer, and more.

The roommate is a Grad student and works in research. Female, mid-twenties, tidy, and respectful. She has the cutest and smallest little cuddle bug of a dog. I can vouch living with her is great and I’m only leaving because I’m moving out of the state.
