The apartment is an 1,800 square foot space on the first floor of our garden building. Parking is free along with water and sewage. It was recently updated with all new counters, carpets and appliances. It is a two-bed two-bath traditionally (but my roommate Rich resides in our finished, spacious basement), and the room that will be available has its own bathroom. There is a washer and dryer in-unit (amazing), and we even have a little porch. The community is called Fair Lawn Commons, and it's quiet and very safe. The complex also has a small fitness center for free use, and there is a gym for $20 a month a five minute walk away. There are numerous options for groceries and dining out nearby. The train to NYC (get to Penn Station in 50 minutes) is an easy ten minute walk away.
Costs: The available room is $950 + utilities. The utilities (electricity, gas, and internet) are between $40-$60 a person per month, depending on the season. The lease is a 12-month lease with a flexible move-in date between July 10th and August 1, 2019.
DISCLAIMER: I have a sweet old Border Collie named Sebastian, so if you're interested in living with us, please be fond of dogs. :)
