Move in 7/31! Beautiful, quiet neighborhood!

Hi! I have a room up for rent that's big enough for 1-2 people. The lease starts on August 1st. Exact address and pictures of the rest of the house can be sent upon request.

3 bed, 2 bath house with approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of living space. Very quiet and safe neighborhood on a dead-end street with a lovely little lake in walking distance. 5 minutes from Harris Teeter and Lowe's Foods shopping centers, and 10 minutes from GTCC and HP City Lake Park.

Rent is $635/month, and utilities typically run between $100–$150 per month, so we rarely pay more than about $775 per person.

You'd be sharing the house with two roommates who value cleanliness, privacy, and respecting each other's personal space. The shared areas include a spacious living room, dining room, full kitchen, front porch, and back porch. The house also has a pantry, dishwasher, and full-size washer and dryer. We do have a garage but it's a bit full and we're currently in the process of cleaning it out.

We tend to keep things pretty quiet and don't have guests over very often, but we're absolutely fine with roommates having friends over. We just ask for a heads up so we can make sure the pets are in their rooms.

I have two friendly cats and a husky mix. The cats are *not* outdoor cats and spend most of their time in my bedroom. The dog just turned 3, is fully housebroken/very well behaved and loves meeting new people!! But he'll be just as comfortable in the other bedroom when guests are over if you'd prefer that.

As an added bonus, we have just about every streaming service you can think of, and you're welcome to use them on the living room TV. I also bake a lot, and there's always plenty to share!

I'm looking for someone who is responsible, respectful, and a good fit for a peaceful, comfortable home environment. My roommate and I would also prefer a non-smoker.

I'm a 29 year old nursing student with two cats and a very friendly but well-behaved dog. I also work full time at a restaurant (yes, sometimes I bring home free food and share with my roommates lol). In my free time, I love to bake, watch TV, read, and create art. I have a ton of art supplies and books that I don't mind sharing! I also love learning new things whenever I can. I like researching things like healthcare, neuroscience, animal behavior, astrology, and different religions/spiritual beliefs. I'm an empathetic person who loves to meet and connect with new people, but I consider myself to be an introvert. When I go out, it's almost always at a park, coffee shop, or brewery.

I currently have one roommate that is a family friend that I've lived with for the past couple of years. He's pretty quiet and keeps to himself, but is a great roommate and is always down for new friends! He does get home late from work (around midnight), but isn't loud at all when coming in. He also is a heavy sleeper so he doesn't mind noise in the morning/early afternoon. In his free time, he likes to watch wrestling, go to the gym, and go to concerts. He's currently studying to be an airplane mechanic.

We both enjoy living in a clean, peaceful home. We respect each other's space and the common areas of the house, so we always make sure to clean up after ourselves and share chores like dishes, vacuuming, sweeping, etc. Overall, we're both chill and would love to find a roommate (or two - the room and house is large enough!) that shares similar values.
