One bedroom with private bathroom and balcony available in a beautiful home in upper Miller Creek, 10-15 from the U. The room is available for maximum 1 person, April through mid August.

Regular rent is $770/mo, plus $50 for all utilities, AC and internet; and can be reduced in exchange for helping out around the house, optional--described below.

The bedroom is adjacent to the loft area so you could have an office or space there as well. You will have your own refrigerator and pantry and we share use of the kitchen.

You would be sharing this 4bdrm/4 bath home with me (a wildlife biologist mom), and my 9-yo daughter. We have two 1-yr-old heeler pups, and a cat who would love to snuggle with you. Sorry but we can't take on any more dogs, and cats only if they were really uninterested in hunting birds.

We are seeking to rent to maximum 1 person who enjoys nature and, importantly, who is clean and will keep the house tidy. You will have your own fridge and pantry and share use of the house, 8-person hot tub, yard, gardens, decks, greenhouse, etc. The property is 2 acres full of trees, flowers, ponds, gardens, bird feeders, bird houses, owl houses, bat houses, and bee houses! It feels like you are in the wilderness but you are right by town. You are welcome to plant veggies in the gardens.

Reduced rent is available for someone who would like to help with my daughter, or do basic house and yard maintenance projects. This could include reading with my daughter, dog walking, bike riding, art projects, clean up, painting decks, helping with landscaping, lots of house projects, etc. We are nature lovers and the the property was constructed (over 30 years) to provide a diversity of habitats for birds and their food sources in every season.
