Spare bedroom in a 2 bed apartment

I am renting a bedroom in my 2 bed apartment in the Highland area. The apartment is furnished, and the bedroom would have a bed and a desk. The rent would be split just down the middle at $700 per month with a $500 security deposit. There is a small bathroom, full kitchen, and large dining room and living room spaces. My lease will be up by September of 2026. If we get along, we can discuss for another lease. The apartment is dog friendly and I do have one of my own. She is about 30 pounds, mixed breed, very sweet, gets along with dogs and people, and is wanting for a new friend.

As for myself, I am a single 25 year old male and currently taking college classes at Metropolitan State University. I still have 2 more years of school left to go. I am in the Army Reserves and I use my GI Bill to pay for classes and rent. My hobbies mostly include going out for runs, taking my dog to the local dog parks, playing some video games, cooking (I am always excited to cook and share with people), and of course studying.
