My boyfriend (23) and I (24) are looking for a roommate to share our apartment in Southgate, Michigan! We have an extra bedroom available, and we’re open to one person, a couple, or potentially roommates who are a good fit.

The apartment itself is fully furnished aside from the available bedroom, so you’d only need to furnish your own room.

We’re both pretty artsy, clean, friendly, and laid-back. We like having a good balance of staying in and going out, and we tend to keep to ourselves for the most part. We rarely have people over, so we’re looking for someone who is also respectful of having a relatively quiet home. Your friends/guests are absolutely welcome — we just aren’t looking to turn the apartment into a party house with people constantly coming and going.

The total rent for the apartment is $1,600, but rather than splitting it evenly by bedroom, we’re offering the room for $600/month to make it more affordable for whoever moves in. DTE and Wi-Fi would be split between the people living here.

We’re mainly looking for someone who is clean, respectful, responsible, and easygoing. We’d love to find someone we get along with and can comfortably share a home with!
