Room for rent in a clean home on a quiet street just a few minutes walk from Flat Rock City Park! The home is fully functional and well-kept, with ongoing light updates to improve the space over time.

Two bedroom options are currently available, both ready for move-in, once I give the rooms a fresh coat of paint! There is also a basement bedroom option that can be made available, but it does require some additional updating before it’s fully ready.

Shared spaces include a bathroom, living room, and kitchen. The home has a fenced backyard (with a small gap in one corner) and a generally peaceful, low-traffic environment.

I live here with my young son, and the home has a calm, family-oriented atmosphere. With the toys neatly hidden away ;). I’m open to another single mom moving in or someone who is comfortable in a home with a child.

I’m currently in the process of making minor improvements such as baseboards, caulking, and painting. The home is clean and comfortable as-is, but I want to be upfront that it’s a work in progress in certain areas.

Open to negotiating rent in exchange for occasional help with small projects or skilled labor, if that’s something you’re interested in although not required, just an option.
