Seeking Roomate 21-27yo in Kalamazoo Area

Hi! I'm seeking a roommate between the ages of 21-27 beginning Aug. 1, 2026 for at least 1 year. My current roommate is moving out at the end of the lease (July 31). I'll do my best to list the important stuff here, so hopefully i dont forget anything. NO SMOKERS PLEASE!!

I am a 23 year old psych major and mental health advocate at university with an interest in video games, music, electronics, and computers. I am generally awake at some point between the hours of 9am-4am, and tend to play games a bit later at night with friends. I think i do get a little loud sometimes and the walls are a little thin, so i'm open to discussion on that if it would become a problem.

Rent is listed to be $1375 a month on the apartment's side, so thinking that utilities will be on average $100 a month-ish, i'm thinking it should be around $750-$800 a month between the two of us. Wifi and water are included in the rent, electricity and gas are not. I marked the security deposit as $1200 as that is what is listed on my lease, but i cannot remember if that was per person or 600 per. They also base it off credit history checks i believe so it could vary a bit.

The pictures listed are from the website and virtual tour of the apartment as my current roommate did not want me taking pictures of his room with his things in it. Use them more as a frame of reference for the size of the room rather than a 1:1 experience as they are definitely a bit glow'd up for advertising's sake.

In the shared living space I do have a couch and a TV. We have not yet separated out who gets what of the mutual furniture so I will have to update that when i get more info there. With chores, I struggle to do cleaning alone, but with schedules where we do cleaning together I am much better, so that is my preferred way to take care of the apartment.

The apartment has a pool during the summer, indoor hot tub year round, exercise room, and a sauna!
