Room available in Holistic group house (Glenmont)

We currently have a large room for rent in our group house. The room features a large window that welcomes the morning light, and a walk-in closet with a lot of storage space.
Located between Glenmont and Aspen Hill in Silver Spring, MD. 3,500Sq Ft Home with hardwood floors, large deck and backyard, healing and yoga/movement space, library and large basement with plenty of storage space.
The house is shared amongst 3 other people with various ages and genders. We are yogis, meditators, musicians, creators, service oriented and value the richness and growth found in community living.
We have 3 cats and one of our residents has a 16yo son who stays the weekend here on occasion.
We want to invite someone to live with us who is growth oriented with excellent communication skills, values self expression and creativity, practices self-accountability, has clear boundaries and is able to honor and respect the boundaries of others, has no pets (sorry, we are all petted out!), and is financially stable. We prefer people who are relatively quiet in their day to day living through the house, have and are cultivating healthy living habits, and perhaps most importantly, who bring a sense of ease and connection to those around them.
Please note: We are NOT a party house. Guests are of course always welcomed, but larger gatherings are encouraged to be intentional in nature and cleared with the other members of the house first. Parties can certainly happen, we just don’t want that to be the vibe here. We generally keep it low-key.
Serious applicants are asked to provide 2 references from past co-habitators and/or friends and/or land lords. Experience living in group / community space is preferred but not required.
The room will be available now with some flexibility on the move in date. Rent is $1000 per month with first month’s rent and and equivalent security deposit ($2000 total) due on or before move-in date. Utilities are around $200-300 total per month.
