Room for Rent in Home

I'm looking for a tenant to rent a large, private, sunny, ground-level bedroom with an en suite bathroom. (The bathroom is not fully private. It has a hallway entrance and is used by social and overnight visitors on occasion.) Rent includes WiFi, all utilities, alarm-monitoring fee, and monthly housekeeping.

The image shows the room with furniture, but it is actually currently mostly unfurnished (though it can be furnished if desired). The room is entered through the garage rather than the house's main entrance, so it offers a lot of privacy.

There is an adjacent stocked kitchenette (shared with a basement tenant) that has a large fridge, microwave, toaster oven, and two-burner electric stove -- no full-sized stove/oven, so this won't work for someone who bakes or cooks a lot. There is shared use of a laundry room, storage space, and outdoor veggie garden. Ample street parking directly in front of the house.

The house is in a beautiful tree-lined residential neighborhood that is a 15-min walk to downtown Bethesda, 15-min walk to the Capital Crescent Trail, and 20-min walk to the Bethesda metro. Convenient to NIH, the beltway, and DC. I live in the home with a teenager (who's with me half-time) and a quiet mini-poodle.

For one person only. No pets. No smoking. Start-date and lease term are negotiable. One-month security deposit required.
