2 Bedroom Apartment in Yorkville

Hello! I have an available room in my current apartment in Yorkville. My current roommate is moving in with his girlfriend, and I need someone to take his spot on the lease. The apartment is located on 91st St & 2nd Ave near many great restaurants and bars and also very close to the Q and 4/5/6 trains. The apartment gets plenty of natural light and has a spacious living room. There is no laundry in the building, but there is a laundromat very close by and a wash and fold service next door.

The available room is about 8'x10' with a full-sized closet and a window. The room will not be furnished upon move in, but see the attached pictures for what it looks like now. The room is most spacious with a full-sized mattress, but the mattress in the photos is a queen and still fits well in the room. The living room and kitchen are currently furnished, but I am open to new furniture if you want to bring anything with you.

I'm an electrical engineer at a building design firm and I've lived in the city for four years. I'm mostly in the office during the week, but I work from home on Fridays and other occasional times during the week. When I'm not working I enjoy exploring the city, catching up on the latest shows, exercising, and walking my dog. I have 5 year old golden retriever named Franklin who's very friendly and loves meeting new people. He's house trained and spends most of the time in my room when I'm not home. I'm a very clean person who clean the apartment regularly and would appreciate living with someone who does the same. I'm also an actor and singer so I may be gone some evenings when I have rehearsal. I prefer to be friends with my roommates so I'd love to chat to get to know you more before we agree to live with each other.
