I'm an early 30's working professional who's also going to school part time for his Masters, I personally enjoy photography and cooking but am rarely home due to work/school. When I am home I'm usually in my room or cooking, on weekends I like to watch Football in the living room, I sometimes watch things in my room and luckily the walls are completely sound deadened. We have AC in each room, and windows, with a fire escape that leads to the roof.
