shared space; it's pretty huge

I have a very large, clean, private and quiet room available for $2000 month available March 30. Security deposit + 1st month's rent (you will get the security deposit back when you move out) will be needed upon move in. The current bed in the picture is a queen size mattress with dark stained wood stand and there is plenty of room to add a desk if needed. Bedsheets, pillows, blankets etc. are not included. At one point, a prior roommate put in a full size bed and added a couch to create her own studio. It is situated at the back of the building and is dead quiet. The room can also come unfurnished.

The apartment itself is very large (especially for the village) and is the entire floor of the building. There is only one other apartment in the building and it has really great, safe neighbors. We look out for each other ie. mail, lock outs etc.

I am a respectful, trustworthy, reliable, clean, and non-smoking fashion designer who is looking for a student or professional with likewise qualities (smokers are acceptable as long as it's in the hallway). Shorter stays are welcome.

The room has a closet, air conditioning, hardwood floors, and exposed, painted brick walls in a prewar building. It is a one floor walk up. You will also be sharing a roomy living area. Heat and hot water is included and we will share utilities (electricity, cable, cable internet, and garbage).

I am located in a fantastic location on the edge of so many great areas, such as the West Village, Union Square and Greenwich Village. I am steps away from major subway lines like the F/V, 1/2/3, L path and New Jersey Transit. I am also conveniently located to at least 5 different grocery stores including Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, not to mention the fabulous fashion stores just up the street! There is drop off, organic wash and drycleaning downstairs and a coin laundromat two blocks away. Steps away are some of the best restaurants and bars in the city and a stroll from the West Side Highway which includes fantastic, seaside paths and a ton of entertainment. It is really a wonderful place for walks and morning runs.
