ABOUT THE HOME

This is a gay-friendly shared home, and we are looking for one male professional or student who is responsible, respectful, clean, and comfortable living in a diverse household.

Everyone in the apartment works or studies, so this is not a party house. We want the apartment to remain a peaceful and comfortable place where everyone can rest, study, work, and enjoy their privacy. We are friendly and considerate while also respecting one another’s independence and personal space.

THE BEDROOM

A large, bright, and fully furnished private bedroom overlooking the Hudson River and New Jersey. The room is located on the second level of the duplex, corresponding to the sixth floor of the building.

THE BATHROOM

A spacious bathroom with a bathtub, powerful shower, sink, and toilet. It is located on the same level as the bedroom and is shared with the occupants of two other bedrooms.

THE APARTMENT

The apartment is a spacious prewar duplex with four bedrooms and two bathrooms. I also live in the apartment and use the bedroom and bathroom on the first level.

The kitchen and living room are spacious shared areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large refrigerator/freezer, ice maker, stove, oven, microwave, toaster, juicer, food processor, and other essentials.

The living room has two windows overlooking the Hudson River, air conditioning, heating, and a ceiling fan. It also includes a 65-inch Samsung TV, soundbar, DVD player, Nintendo console, Spectrum cable, Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Hulu. There is also a piano and a small bar.

LOCATION

The apartment is located on Riverside Drive in Washington Heights, Manhattan, in a prewar building dating from 1915.

The 157th Street station on the 1 train is approximately three minutes away—or about the length of one pop song. Times Square is approximately 25 minutes away by subway.
