Living Room

Hi! We’re looking for one person to move into a private, unfurnished bedroom in our 3BR apartment. Ideally, we’d like someone to move in September 1, 2026, with the new roommate signing a one-year lease beginning October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2027.

The apartment is shared with two working professionals and a small dog. We’re looking for someone who is responsible, clean, respectful, communicative, and interested in a stable living situation. Our household is POC- and LGBTQIA-friendly, and we’re looking for someone who is comfortable in an inclusive household.

Me: Graduate student and working accountant
Roommate: Actor and singer
Dog: Small, friendly dog

Apartment & Room
Private, unfurnished bedroom
Shared kitchen, bathroom, and living room
One person only — the room cannot accommodate an additional occupant
Rent: $1,000/month for September
Rent: $1,041.67/month beginning October 1, 2026
Internet: $20/month
Estimated Con Edison: typically 35–65/month per person, with summer months sometimes reaching around $90
Household supplies are split evenly between all three roommates
$800 refundable security deposit
Small dogs under 25 lbs will be considered
No cats due to allergies

Location
The apartment is conveniently located between the 1 and C trains, with easy access to the M4, M5, M100, and M101 buses. There are several grocery stores and a gym within approximately a 5-minute walk.
