Roommate for 2 Bed 1 Bath in Washington Heights

Hello all! I am looking for a new roommate for my first floor basement apartment in Washington Heights.

Flexible move in September 15th to October 1st for a one year lease starting October 1st.

Rent will be $1,100 a month. The unit has a flat electricity fee of $75 a month we split (so you could run the AC all year long and the bill would be the same!) We will split internet. There will be a $250 fee for the change of tenant that we would split.

All the furniture you see is mine so we can re-arrange together or you just need to come with stuff for your room!

Your room is a little over 9 feet by 8.5 feet with a good sized closet.

Apartment pluses:
-There is an in unit washer and dryer.
-The bathroom is nice and pretty new with a tub.
-We have an outdoor back concrete area that only one other unit has access to and never goes out (great for having folks over!)

Apartment minus:
-First floor basement means our full size windows do just look out on super walkways
-Due to being a basement unit we have a separate entrance down a flight of stairs past the building trash and recycling

Apartment is Cat-Friendly if you have a cat. (My cat passed in December)

Looking for a roommate of any gender ideally between the ages of 25-32. Looking for someone who doesn't bring the party home and is cool splitting chores.

You would be moving in with me a 27 y/o queer woman. I am pretty mild mannered. I work a decent amount from home (or I travel out of state for work). I draft for theatre and live entertainment. I'd love a roommate to take to the opera, or watch movies with, or have a board game night.
