Seeking a mature, responsible, organized and accountable female to rent 1 room in a 3 bedroom apartment on 186th and St. Nicholas in uptown Manhattan. Large shared living space, large kitchen being renovated (not pictured) We are located in a vibrant Spanish area with grocery store across the street and laundry two blocks either way. 5 minute walk from the 1 train at 181st, 8 minute walk from the A at 181st.

$1,000 all inclusive monthly rent includes Con-Edison all year round, and WiFi. Deposit is $1,000 which acts as your last month’s rent. We take turns providing soap, garbage bags, toilet paper, etc.

This is a drama-free household that prioritizes transparency, communication and respect. Guests are kept to a strong minimum, although, after establishing some trust- that tends to be more flexible.

I am the leaseholder, Terra, a 37 year old college student majoring in music and Theater with a medium sized, playful and protective Shiba Inu dog. I am a good communicator, easy to approach and eager to maintain everyone’s comfort in the house. I take responsibility for just about everything in the house, and I will always be the point person to talk to about anything! Repairs, issues/concerns, etc. are all my responsibility to maintain, and I’m happy to do it :)

The other roommate is Sophie, 24, headed to graduate school, working as a barista. She’s bright, stylish, and friendly.

If you are a particularly responsible and mature female, who enjoys living with a dog, appreciates pre-war apartment charm and quirks, are ready to leave a deposit by March 1st and move-in April 1st- I’d like to hear from you!
