Spacious room in peaceful neighborhood

Residential area feels safe to walk home from subway at night. Large 12x17 bedroom is at opposite sides of the apartment with the other bedroom, so there is lots of privacy. Room gets sunlight through windows with security gates and has two deep closets. Hardwood floors throughout the apt. Well-maintained and orderly elevator building, laundry machines in the basement, and live-in building staff.

Express A train station is three blocks away – 22 minutes to Columbus Circle – and the 1 train station and buses are nearby. Close to NY Pres Hospital and a short subway ride to Columbia or City College. Leafy, peaceful Ft Tryon Park and the Cloisters are a short walk away. Chase bank, restaurants, bars, and several supermarkets (including a specialty grocery) a few blocks away.

You’ll be sharing with one other roommate – I'm a female who likes to cook, read, and travel and treats the apt as a place to unwind in off hours. I work from home as a project manager five days a week.
• Large bedroom with two huge closets, full-size bed, chest of drawers, desk, office chair, bookshelf, and night stand.
• Rent includes heat and hot water. Utilities will be split, and are around $85/month for gas/electric and cable Internet.
• You? Considerate, quiet and clean, nonsmoker, no pets, no guests. One month security deposit. Prefer at least one year. I have the lease and have been living here over 10 years now.
