Two working professional women in their 30s–40s are looking for a respectful, fun roommate to join our 4BR 1.5BA apartment with two other roommates on East 101st St & 1st Ave. Move-in date: May 1. Must be looking to stay at least 6 months, 12 months+ preferred.

The room
• Good-sized bedroom (fits full or queen bed, dressers, bookshelves)
• Large closet with two top shelves
• Window AC spot (window unit) — room is otherwise unfurnished
• Current roommate may sell her newly purchased full-size bed to the new tenant

Apartment & building
• True 4BR with kitchen, dining room, living room, 1 full bath + 1 half bath
• Only three people will live here
• Shared kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine, air fryer, ample cabinet space
• Fully furnished communal areas (kitchen, dining room, living room)
• Two large communal storage closets
• Small gym and communal lounge in the building complex
• Laundry room on 1st floor; elevators in building; 24-hour security at courtyard entrance
• Close to 6 and Q trains; short walk to restaurants, bars, Randall’s Island footbridge and walking distance to Central Park

Money & logistics
• Rent: $1,500/month
• Utilities: cable/internet + non-heat electric split 3 ways
• Deposit: first month’s rent + one month security deposit required before move-in
• Proof of income or viable income source required
• Lease runs through July 2028 with no rent increase until then

Household & expectations
• Non-smokers
• We’re neat, respectful of each other’s property, and share cleaning & communal supplies costs (TP, paper towels, dish soap, etc.)
• We like hanging out sometimes, watching shows, and going out: we are social but respectful of schedules
• Single occupant only; no pets
• Screening: brief chat + in-person meet-and-greet
