Large unfurnished bedroom (can easily fit a king sized bed) available in a two bedroom, one bathroom apartment on 156th and Broadway starting February 1st (move in can be pushed up to February 15th). $1200/month ($1440/month for couples) not including utilities. First, last, and security required.

The common spaces are furnished. The apartment is on the second floor of a nice six story building. There are convenience stores, grocery stores, laundry mats, restaurants, and bars all within walking distance (Harlem Public, At The Wallace, Fumo, and others). The apartment is one block from the 1 train at 157th and three blocks from the C train at 155th. Elevator and laundry in building.

I am a law student at Columbia (2nd year), easygoing, medium clean. My cat lives in the apartment, so any potential roommate must like cats (pets considered). Looking for a respectful, easygoing roommate who is invested in making the apartment feel like a home for us both.
