Hi! I'm a retired single woman looking to rent one (furnished) bedroom in my Upper West Side apartment to another woman. I am a writer, singer, and actress and from time to time I'll have a rehearsal in my living room.

My home is in a prime location, right next to Zabar's, 2 minute walk to the 1 train on 79th street, 4 minutes to Riverside Park, and 10 minutes to the B/C trains, Museum of Natural History, and Central Park.

Bedroom is large (9 1/2 ’ x 17’), furnished, with a queen bed, small fridge, microwave, air conditioning in summer and space for hanging clothes and storage.

The bathroom is shared and there is a washer/dryer in the apartment as well.

There is a 7’ grand piano for light playing in the living room.

I have a small dog who is very sweet but does bark when the doorbell rings or new people enter the apartment, so you must be a dog person.

The apartment is on the ground floor, with a private entrance to the street.

Rent is $1600/month due by the first of each month ($1600 security deposit) and utilities are included.
