Roommate wanted - UWS apt 2Bed/1Bath on 96th + CPW

MOVE IN: flexible; any time between June 17 through July 1 (flexible)

NEIGHBORHOOD: UWS
*Located across the street from Central Park, the neighborhood is SAFE, QUIET and residential. The building is mostly retirees and families, which is nice since I (like many others) enjoy going out in the East Village but certainly don’t want to go home to late night partiers vomiting on my front door. There’s still plenty of amazing restaurants and bars within walking distance (a popular area is around the 70s-80s street blocks) and in the summers they block off certain streets to have farmers markets, street fairs, etc near the Natural History Museum (also within walking distance). Basically, I would describe my neighborhood as wholesome. There is street parking as well as a parking garage across the street from building. The building has extensive, well kept gardens and courtyard. Located close to Whole Foods, Associated Market, Westside Market, Trader Joe’s, Home Goods, Bank of America, Chase and TJ Maxx, Target, and Costco is just across town on 117th + 1st ave (I have a membership card, willing to share!)

TRANSPORTATION:
* Trains: the B/C train at 96th st station, the 1/2/3 train at 96th st station
* Buses: M10 at 100th st stop, M7/M11 at Columbus st/W 97th stop, M106 + M96 crosstown at 96th st + CPW

APARTMENT:
* Located on 96th and CPW. First floor apartment in a pre-war, fully renovated condo building with 24/7 doorman and 24/7 security. 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full kitchen with dishwasher and full size fridge and stove, and living room. The apartment comes fully furnished (but if you want new/different décor, I’m open to discussions!) I love animals, but the apt has a "no pets" rule, and no I can’t make exceptions or help you conceal your pet.

BEDROOM #2:
* Bedroom is fully furnished (new full size cool gel memory foam mattress [sealed in a hypoallergenic + waterproof mattress protector at time of purchase] along with a bedframe and headboard, and white wooden horizontal blinds, white Ikea HEMNES drawers) - I included pictures from the set up of my past roommate
* Has a window, looking out into front courtyard gardens and room comes with AC unit
* In building laundry and gym; building has an elevator
* Awesome fact: have never run out of hot water + we have the best water pressure!

ABOUT ME:
* I'm a California transplant, moved to NYC for grad school and stayed in NYC for work. I’m a pediatric pharmacist at a nearby hospital. Clean/neat, open minded, and respectful. No drugs use, non-smoker, occasional social drinker. Both a morning and a night person. Hobbies: gym, food, traveling, making new friends and trying new things.

LOOKING FOR:
* Ideally, I’m looking for someone (one person, no couples) to stay at least a year. It would be great to find someone I could be friends with as well as a roommate. So it’s very important to me that we are compatible personality-wise, maturity level (no passive aggressive behavior, we are adults!) and regarding our personal definition of what “clean” means. Since my apartment is fully furnished (room + common areas), my place is ideal for someone who doesn’t have a lot of spare furniture or none at all.
