Looking for a roommate starting July 1 for a quiet but warm 2 bed / 2 bath duplex on the UWS (104th St).

The apartment is bright, peaceful, and surprisingly spacious for Manhattan: high ceilings, hardwood floors, AC, dishwasher, laundry in building, and a large private backyard with BBQ that honestly becomes a luxury in summer. The apartment faces an interior courtyard, so it stays very calm despite being one minute from the 1 train.

I’m a French teacher working full-time in Manhattan — easygoing, organized, respectful of personal space, but also happy to share a drink, a conversation, or occasional movie/music evenings. Looking for someone with a similar balance of calm, independence, and positive energy.
