Looking for someone to take over my lease for a spacious 1 bed / 1 bath apartment on Central Park West, ideally starting early April (flexible). The lease runs through July 31, 2026, with rent at $3,990/month, and the unit comes unfurnished with the option to renew the lease for another year.

The apartment itself is newly renovated and very well laid out, with hardwood floors, a dishwasher, and an in-unit washer and dryer. One of the standout features is the amount of storage, there is a ton of closet space throughout, which is rare for a one-bedroom in the city. It’s bright, comfortable, and works really well for both living and working from home.

The building is a full-service doorman building with an elevator, gym, laundry room, bike storage, and a live-in super. It’s pet-friendly and well maintained, and sits directly across from Central Park on a quiet Upper West Side block, while still being very close to the B/C and 1/2/3 trains at 96th Street, as well as plenty of restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores.

I’m only leaving because I'm going back to Europe for a while and its not feasible for me to have an empty apt - otherwise I’d happily stay, it’s a great unit in an excellent location. Happy to share photos/videos or set up a viewing if you’re interested.
