Looking for a roommate to rent the smaller bedroom in 2 bed 1 bath apartment in Upper West Side for $1,300 per month plus utilities.
Gas and water are included in the price, but wifi and electricity are paid separately.
Move-in date would be August 1rst. The lease is for one year.
The address is 414 Amsterdam Avenue between 79th and 80th st.
Apartment is on the 5th floor, but only a 4 floor walk-up. No elevator. No upstairs neighbors.
Even though your bedroom will be small it fits a full size mattress. You can use the living room as an extension of your bedroom (i. e. put desk, dresser, and clothes drying rack in the living room.) I don't have people over often so the living room is basically just yours anyway.
Our bedrooms don't share a wall.
If you are curious why there are books under the front legs of the couch, this historic Tenement building was built in 1895 so the living room floor is slightly sloped.

I don't smoke, and I'm looking for a roommate that doesn't smoke. I'm fully vaccinated.
I don't work from home, so if you do you'll have the apartment to yourself from about 8am to 6:30pm during the week.
