I?m renting a two-bedroom apartment and my current roommate is moving in with her boyfriend, so I?m looking for a roommate.

This building is located in a friendly community on the Upper West Side. It has beautiful historic architectural features, an elevator, and a live-in super who accepts packages. The management company is responsive. The neighborhood is extremely convenient?walking distance to both Trader Joe?s and Whole Foods, with all banks, drugstores, etc. nearby. The 96th St 1, 2, 3 train is 3 blocks away. We?re steps from Riverside Park and a 10-minute walk from Central Park.

The room gets great light and has ample closet space. It?s already furnished with a queen bed, dresser, and small desk, but if you have your own furniture, it can be emptied.

We would share the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. The kitchen is nicely renovated and the bathroom is in good shape.

I?m a 51-year-old professional woman with a very old cat who spends most of his time in my bedroom. I?m vegetarian and would love to have someone who doesn?t cook meat in the house, but it?s not a deal-breaker. The main requirements are that you?re responsible, communicative, and during this difficult time, careful about social distancing. Everything else is negotiable.
