The apartment has a spacious kitchen/living room , bedroom and bathroom. There are hardwood floors throughout, a fireplace and plenty of storage place for 1-2 people. The apartment itself looks out onto gardens behind us (facing North West) and is a quiet area one block from Central Park. It's a very open space so gets plenty of air and light.
The location is within walking distance of subway, great cafes and bars on UWS and UES. I regularly wander across the park or head down to Lincoln center on weekends. There are also tennis courts within 5 minutes of the apartment. The apartment is 3-4 stairs up.
Line is B/C or 1 nearby - 3 blocks away.
There is no broker fee. The management company is really responsive and we have a really nice supervisor who has helped me out on many occasions. Deposit is one month rent in advance. You will need a decent credit score or guarantor. I have been here for over a year and breaking lease (for 2 months) before contract renews end of November, to move to Brooklyn.
