This room is available July 1st and onwards. The right person is ideally someone who plans to stay through the end of summer or beyond. This is very suitable for a grad student or professional with that kind of timetable. The contract can be extended for longer as is appropriate/mutually agreeable. Unfortunately, no pets are permitted in this building, and this is for non-smokers only. Your share of utilities/internet/Fios/apt. cleaning is approx. $125/mo. additionally.
Close to BOTH parks! The room I'm offering has lots of light, as it overlooks Broadway with two sets of windows on the corner of the building. There is a fair amount of storage/closet space, high-speed Fios/WiFi. Comfortable and private with full-size platform bed and other furniture: shelves, chest and armoire, see photos. Air conditioner and NEW ceiling fan. Laundry machines in our basement. All amenities are nearby.
This is a 2 BR place with one bath. There is access to the shared kitchen, and bathroom. Located in the Upper West Side neighborhood on the 10th floor of a high-ceilinged, light-filled classic pre-war building with easy subway access and near all amenities. 12-15 mins. to midtown. Close to Columbia University and Manhattan School of Music.
I am a neat, organized person and would prefer that you be too, to minimize clutter; this is very important to me as is sharing the cleaning and keeping things in order. Light cooking is preferred, and you should know that I have an allergic sensitivity to smells (from cooking, fragrances, sprays and mold.)
There is a good amount of storage and an uncluttered vibe is what makes living here possible!
I'm a classical musician/pianist who sometimes works at home during the day and early evening with singer clients. I also work part-time outside the apt. I am youthful in mindset, outlook and in person (don't judge by my age!). I'm a native New Yorker and speaker of several other languages, easy-going with a good sense of humor, trustworthy and a world traveler myself. Conscious of women's safety concerns. A full-time roommate is fine but I'm open to somebody who is a commuter or a part-time roommate as well.
Please reply with an intro about yourself and your living style, plus some idea of your anticipated schedule weekly.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
