Looking for a laid-back yet reliable roommate to share a huge, sunny pre-war apartment on the UWS.

Apartment is 2 blocks away from Central and Riverside Parks, across the street from Trader Joe’s and the 1/2/3, the B/C is 2 blocks away.

The room itself is very big (16 by 10 feet) and private with one large window, hardwood floors, an air conditioner, and private bathroom with shower. There is a bed and enough built in storage that there’s no real need for more furniture.

In unit washer and dryer, and a dishwasher in the kitchen.

Apartment is a drug and (generally) alcohol free environment. I'm flexible about having beer and wine in the house. No smokers and no pets, sorry.

I have a small dog, an elderly dachshund, who is very cuddly. It’s really important to me that whoever lives here likes her!

I'm a friendly, outgoing person who has lived in NYC with roommates most of my adult life. I don't need to be best friends with my roommates but do want a collegial relationship that allows us to communicate and be happy in the shared space. I work partially from home so would prefer candidates with employment or school that has them out of the house. Ultimately it's about finding the right vibe, so if you think it could work shoot your shot.

References, $2,000 security deposit, first and last month’s rent needed prior to move in.

Room needs some repairs and will be repainted prior to move in.
