1 Room UES 83rd/2nd $1940/month

I'll be moving out of the apartment (2 bed, 1 bath) on April 1st, so looking for someone to take over the remainder of my lease until November 30th. Rent is $1940/month, not including utilities (usually $100 in total).

I'm working with management on this, so you will likely need to be approved by them. The approval process is pretty simple, but it will require you to make at least $70k/year and an okay credit score. If you don't fit that criteria, then I don't think it would be a good fit for you.

For context, I'm just moving out because of a new job and moving in with a friend whose lease is up at the end of this month. No issues have arisen since I've lived here, it's a pretty solid apartment for the price point and in the neighborhood. As mentioned in the title, it's on the Upper East Side on E 83rd between 1st and 2nd Ave, and it's about a 3 min walk from the door to the Q train. Neighborhood is lively with a lot of good bars and restaurants, and Central Park and a number of stores are a few blocks west.

Roommate is a 26 male professional, so looking for someone similar (only men). Pretty chill and laid-back, keeps to himself and respectful. He has a dog (5 y/o German Shepherd), but the dog is really well-behaved and is usually in his room or being walked outside, so you won't interact with him too much.

I'm not taking any of the furniture with me, so I'm willing to give it away for free or to dispose of it, whichever you prefer. There is a small dishwasher and there's an in-unit washer/dryer.
