Private bedroom in a 2 bed/1 bath on the UES

This is a sublease - you will be taking over my lease that goes up until the end of August 2026. Not open to anyone who wants to stay for a shorter time, sorry.

You will have the option to resign the lease for another year come July 2026 but you will need to submit an application and be approved by the building in order to do that. The application process is a background check and proof that you make at least 40x rent or have a guarantor in the event that you don’t make 40x rent.

The room is the bigger bedroom in a 2 bedroom apartment with a large closet with tons of storage as well as two windows that let in a lot of light. I am open to selling all my furniture in the room, but can also empty it out if you’d like. Rent is $1,600 and utilities/wifi come out to under $100 per person per month usually.

Pretty spacious living space to host and a small kitchen on the side. Nice, modern bathroom. My roommate is a very clean person so would need someone okay with cleaning pretty often and being mindful of food crumbs especially to prevent pests. Also needs to be okay with no shoes in the house.

The apartment is on the upper east side on 85th st and right next to Carl Schurz park. Beautiful neighborhood, super safe and quiet. Our unit is on the fourth floor, and there is no elevator in the building, so you will have to walk up three flights of stairs. Laundry machines in the basement and laundromat on the corner. 15 minute walk to the 4/5/6 train and 8 minute walk to the Q train.

- 11/25 between 12:30pm - 4:30pm
- 11/26 between 11am - 5:30pm
