Room Available in Comfortable UES Apartment

Hi!

My roommate is leaving once our lease ends. I really like this apartment and want to stay for at least one more year, but I can't afford it on my own, so I'm looking for a new (female) roommate :)

It's a very comfortable and in a great location (78th&2nd) - my roommate and I have loved living here this past year. Some facts about the place/room:

- water & heat included
- electricity + Wi-Fi comes out to be an extra $60-70 each month each
- has a dishwasher
- one bathroom
- decent-sized closet
- fits a queen-sized bed (the room currently has a full-size bed and that left enough room for a small nightstand and desk - shown in pictures)
- the rooms get good light since they face out onto the street.
- we bought individual a/c units when we moved in and have them installed in the rooms - my roommate was planning on selling hers, so you could buy it off of her if you wanted to have that
- no washer and dryer but there's one right next door
- 3rd-floor walkup
- we live on a calm and quiet side street, but there are a lot of fun bars on 2nd ave which is just a few steps away
- accessible area as well - the Q & 6 lines are super close, as well as a number of busses. Central Park is also a 10 min walk! and there are a lot of yummy places to eat around as well
- also close/within walking distance to a bunch of different grocery stores and places to shop, as well as a lot of museums!
- live-in super who's nice and very responsive

As for what kind of roommate I'm looking for, I want someone who will be respectful of our shared space and clean up after themselves - just common sense things. If you want to have someone visit or have friends over, just give me a heads-up and I'll do the same. And if I have a sleepless night and am up later than I should be, I try to be as quiet as possible so that I don't disturb, and I would expect you to do the same.

My current roommate and I also alternate the responsibility to buy some of the shared things, like toilet paper and soap. It works for us so I'm down to keep that going. Beyond that, I'm pretty chill and easy to get along with - I like to chat and would like to be friends with whoever I'm living with, but I also understand having a social battery and needing your space to recharge.
