I will be leaving in December and am leasing my large, sunny, quiet room. It has its own private half bath, two large closets, and a great view of trees! I have lived here for ten years and I love it. Having two bathrooms and tons of closet space is amazing! It is also right by the Q and 2 blocks to the 6. It is very quiet and clean. You can fit a Queen bed - mine is up for grabs if you would like it free!

The apartment is a fourth floor walk-up, and by New York standards, it is spacious. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, so there is a lot of privacy. There are lovely hardwood floors, exposed brick walls, a galley-style, eat-in kitchen, and two bathrooms. You would have exclusive use of the half bath, and just share the large bath for the shower. The two bathrooms are a major perk!

In terms of public transport, the apartment is located on the same block as the Q train, two blocks from the 96th Street 6 train, one block from the M96 crosstown bus, and one block from the M15, M103, and M101 buses that go up and down Second and Third Avenues. The neighborhood itself is friendly and filled with coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. For those who love to run, Central Park and the East River path are also close by. V

Prospective roommate should be a fiscally responsible, clean, and quiet professionals. We are smoking and drug-free; no heavy partiers, please. No drama!

Person will have to supply first month's rent and security up front. To get on the lease a credit check is also required.
