Roommate Wanted - Massive Union Square Apartment

Looking for someone to join my roommate Markos and I on a 1-year lease starting December 1st in our spacious Union Square / East Village apartment.

We've lived here for several years and absolutely love the place. One of our roommates is moving out, so we're looking for someone to take the third bedroom and hopefully be a good fit with us for the next year.

The Apartment & Location:

Prime East Village / Union Square location on 3rd Ave between 12th & 13th. We're surrounded by restaurants, bars, coffee shops, gyms, grocery stores, etc., and just a few blocks from Union Square with easy access to basically every subway line.

The apartment itself is roughly 1,500 sq. ft. with new appliances, in-unit laundry, and a massive living room that's great for hanging out, watching games, or having friends over. It's a pretty rare amount of space for this part of Manhattan.

The Room:

Private bedroom with plenty of space for a large bed, dresser, desk, etc. Our roommate who's leaving would also be open to selling his bedroom furniture if you're interested, so there's an option to have the room mostly set up from day one.

Your Roommates:

You'll be living with me (Joe) and Markos. We're both social, easygoing, and have our own lives, but we also like having an apartment where roommates actually know each other and can hang out, watch a game, grab beers, have friends over, etc. We're looking for someone with a similar vibe who's respectful and easy to live with.

Details:

12-month lease starting December 1

Rent: $2,700/month (plus utilities and one month security deposit)

3-bedroom apartment
