The two of us are professional women – I’m an artist and I teach art history, and my loftmate is a fashion consultant and Phd in Philosophy. She lives in Washington, DC and is here sporadically. We are non-smokers. Loftmates have stayed for years, and we have become friends.

Charming, FURNISHED room (12' x 15'), very sunny with 2 big windows. Huge, clean SHARED bathroom. Air-conditioned for summer, great heat in winter. Washer/dryer, dishwasher. Provided in the room: full double-sized bed, furniture as seen in photos, mini-refrigerator, microwave/convection oven, dishes, flatware, linens, cable TV with HBO, Showtime, and Paramount Plus..

High speed internet WiFi. Each room has its own LAN cable direct to router.

Because I am a painter and my studio borders on the living area and kitchen, use is limited. But, I love to sit with you in the living area occasionally and talk. I am always willing to recommend places to go in this great city.

Overnight guests are fine, but this room is not for a couple.

One cat lives here, and she doesn't like other pets plus I have allergies. (Pet fish are okay.)
