Spacious Roosevelt Island Half-Bath Suite

Nice, spacious room in Roosevelt Landings with an in-suite half-bath. There is laundry in the building, a gym/yoga room downstairs, and two coworking spaces.

I moved in here a year ago on August 1 with the plan to stay for a month while I looked for an apartment. I ended up staying a whole year! I have loved living here, but luckily for me, I won the housing lottery and am hoping to move into my new apartment by August 1.

This apartment/apartment building is not super nice. But you can’t beat the price! It is a 3bed1.5bath. You will be living with 2 male roommates in their early 20s.

The lease is officially up on September 30, and I’d prefer to rent to someone who will rent the room for the full 2 months.

The room won’t be furnished, as I am taking my bed and dresser with me. I can leave a desk. There is a futon in the living room that we could probably move into this room if you don’t want to figure out getting a bed for such a short-term. There is also a blowup mattress around here somewhere.

The pictures taken are all taken in 1x. The room will be empty, this is just to give you an idea of how big it is and what you will be working with.

The kitchen has everything you might need to cook a reasonable meal (pots/pans/utensils/microwave/stove/over/rice cooker/air fryer/electric kettle).

Last quirky thing: the light switch in the room doesn’t work. I will leave the standing lamp, but you have to manually click the switch for light. The light switch on the wall has been broken the whole time I have lived here.
