True Bedroom in a 2BR apartment in Prime Murray Hi

Hi! I’m looking for a roommate to resign my lease starting May 1st in a lovely 2-bedroom apartment in prime Murray Hill.
The available bedroom is unfurnished and has a closet, two windows, and a fire escape. It comfortably fits a queen bed, desk, and dresser. The rest of the apartment is furnished and very cozy, we have a small living room with a couch, smart TV, and dining table, plus a full kitchen with dishwasher, oven, and microwave. There’s also a shared coat closet.
The apartment is on the 6th floor of a pre-war building with an elevator. It faces the back of the building, so it’s extremely quiet (no street noise at night), which I really value. There’s laundry in the basement, a mailroom on the ground floor, and a live-in super who has always been incredibly responsive. I’ve lived here for two years and genuinely love the space and the area.
The rent for the room is $1,685/month. Heat and water are included, and utilities (WiFi + ConEd) are usually around $80/month. The building requires 40x the rent and good credit. First month and security deposit to move in.
The location is one of the best parts! We are three blocks from the 6 train, close to Trader Joe’s, Lidl, D’Agostino, and tons of restaurants and cafes along 3rd Avenue.
About me: I’m 33, from Italy, and a Ph. D. student at NYU. I teach and study during the week and keep a pretty calm routine. I’m friendly, respectful, and really value a clean apartment.
I’m hoping to re-sign soon and would love to find someone responsible, communicative, clean and tidy.
