A small but comfortable room is opening up in our apartment on West 126th, a few blocks from Columbia's Morningside campus and a short walk to the 1 at 125th St. Rent is $1,063/month plus a share of utilities, available from September 1 on a new lease term.

One bathroom, shared by the household — it works because our schedules are staggered, but worth knowing upfront. No laundry in the building; there's a laundromat one block away.

The apartment is a friendly, low-key place — we're all working or in grad school, so weekdays are generally quiet, but it's not a household where people hide in their rooms. Shared kitchen and living space, and the neighborhood has everything close by: groceries, coffee, the park, and easy access downtown.
