Sunny Room in Morningside Heights – $1,500

Hi!
Our roommate is moving out, and we’re looking for someone to take the largest bedroom in our three-bedroom apartment.
You’d be living with Savannah and Lara, both MFA Creative Writing students at Columbia. We’re in our 20s and looking for a roommate in their 20s or 30s. Lara has been in the apartment for about a year—no issues, and the neighborhood is lovely.
The room is $1,500/month. It's not furnished. Utilities aren’t included, but they’ve been reasonable—around $40 per person per month last year. Your room also has the entrance to the fire escape, which is perfect for sitting outside in the summer—very New York!
A little about us: we’re easygoing and enjoy a friendly apartment vibe, but we also respect everyone’s space. We’re both Columbia graduate students (MFA Creative Writing). We love books, movies, and board games, and sometimes host a casual game night. If that sounds fun, great—but if you’re more on the quiet side, that’s totally fine too. We're queer and trans-friendly.
Move-in date: May 1st.
