I’m offering a furnished room in my apartment for a short-term rental, ideal for a student or young professional looking for temporary housing. Available starting December 17, for several months up to about a year (flexible).

The apartment is a 2BR / 1 bathroom on the top floor of an older walk-up building (no elevator). It’s a bit worn in places, but the location is excellent and very convenient.

Room details:
• Furnished with a bed, drawers, and air conditioning
• All utilities included (WiFi, heat, electric, etc.)
• In-unit washing machine (no dryer; clothes are air-dried)

Location:
Near Columbia University and City College, with easy access to the 1 train and B/C trains, multiple bus lines, a 24/7 market, restaurants, and close to both Central Park and Riverside Park.

You’ll be sharing the apartment with me and my partner. I’m a Latino public school teacher with an early weekday schedule, and my boyfriend is in his 20s and works as a clerk for an insurance company. We’re a gay couple and keep a quiet, clean, low-key home.

House expectations (important):
• Quiet hours begin at 9:00 PM
• We wake up early for work, including making breakfast around 5:30 AM
• To keep the space peaceful and predictable, roommates cannot host guests or overnights
