I am looking for a clean and respectful roommate to rent out a spare bedroom in a beautiful apartment located at 161 West 106th St. right on the corner of Amsterdam and 106th Street. The apartment is conveniently situated just a 10-block walk from Columbia University, making it an ideal location for students or professionals working in the area.

The room will be available starting May 10th, is 9 by 9 feet, and comfortably accommodates a queen-size bed. It comes with an air conditioner to ensure your comfort throughout the year. Additionally, I have a spare bedroom that's not for rent, which can be utilized as a closet/workspace/storage for the rentee. I will also use that room for some storage.

The apartment is a corner unit, allowing for ample natural light to flood in, creating a bright and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen has recently been refurbished and features modern amenities such as a dishwasher and laundry facilities for your convenience.

The majority of the apartment is already furnished, but I can make accommodations if you wish to bring some of your own furniture. I am open to negotiation on this matter.

I am a 35-year-old male, Columbia-SIPA alumnus working for the World Bank. I am quiet, respectful, and enjoy cooking. You can expect a peaceful living environment as I generally keep to myself and will respect your privacy.

Rent for the room is $1,600 per month, and utilities will be shared equally among the occupants. I am particularly interested in having a masters student as a roommate, but undergraduates are also welcome.
