About the apartment
- 3 bedrooms, 4 people total (including you)
- your bedroom is $1155 per month
— it is the smallest, but the most private room in the apartment! Located right by the bathroom, and completely secluded from the 2 other bedrooms and shared spaces
— fits full sized bed, small desk, and nightstand
— has good sized closet
- the bedroom can come unfurnished, or, if you’d like, current roommate is open to leaving all his furniture for a fair price.
- heat+water included (electricity + wifi not included, usually $60-$90 per month per person)
- LAUNDRY (washer + dryer) in unit
- DISHWASHER in unit
- renovated kitchen and bathroom
- 8 minute walk to Columbia campus (through Broadway)
- 1 minute walk from 125th st subway station (train #1)
- 4th floor walk-up
- sublease until May 31st, and option to sign a new lease with us after that if everything goes well!
IMPORTANT: We like to keep the apartment clean and organized, and we proactively pick up chores on our own timeline (we don’t have any sort of formal schedule or tasks divided, we just all proactively contribute when we notice something needs to get done). A person who prefers and enjoys clean and organized space and actively contributes to maintaining it would be the best fit.
The neighborhood is amazing! Lots of college students, but also pretty quiet and family-friendly. Many restaurants, bars and stores on the block. The 125th St 1 Train station is right around the corner and the M60, M4, M104 buses are all within a block.

About us:
I am a postbac premed student at Columbia. My partner Dylan is a grad student and also works full time at NYU, in person Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. I am in and out of the apartment throughout the day, depending on my schedule. We're chill and easy going, we like to keep to ourselves mostly! We both like to clean and keep the apartment neat.
Our roommate is Henry, is currently a student at CUNY John Jay College with a major in Cybersecurity. He tends to be quite busy and on the go often but is also very kind and friendly.
We have a sweet West Highland White Terrier (~20lbs), and he's SUPER socialable, loves all people and most animals! He likes to quickly alarm us by barking when someone is trying to come in — keeping us safe from intruders and robbers hahah. He’s fully potty trained (& me and Dylan take him out multiple times a day, no peeing/pooping in the apartment ever!!).
About you:
- Must be able to complete background check and credit check with the landlord
- female, male, or any other gender identity is totally welcome!
- Someone who is clean and organized and stays on top of their chores will be the best fit for our household 😊. If you consider yourself bit messy and tend to leave things/dishes around, or tend to put off chores, you likely won’t be a good fit for us.
