LGBTQ friendly. I am a Medical professional. Quiet and respectful here, we tend to stay in our own spaces. For immediate rental. This large 150 sq ft. room has been updated, paint, flooring and used furniture. Gets great outside light. Old NYC charm apartment very clean and quiet. Internet, WiFi, electricity, and water bills included. On the 3rd floor with elevator. Washers and dryers in the basement. Very safe neighborhood. Across the street from Riverside park and one block from 1 train. 5 minute walk to Columbia University. Common areas are bathroom, kitchen and living room. Stay safe in your search and good luck. I also have my daughter that stays in a smaller room most days of the week with her own bathroom.

I really enjoyed my stay here with Robert and the other residents. The apartment is in a safe and convenient location, next to the subway station, Riverside park and within 15 mnutes walking distance of Columbia. The room is spacious and furnished with lots of storage space and good wifi, and the apartment has all you need (kitchen + bathroom etc) with laundry in the basement which made it very convenient. Robert is a lovely and gracious landlord who's friendly, respectful and always up for a friendly chat. Would definitely love to stay here again if I'm ever in New York!
