I'm a writer looking for an established professional female to share my beautiful 2-bedroom apartment. 24/7 doorman, vast roof deck with East River views, gym, weekly yoga classes and recently refurbished laundry room. The room has a new-ish double bed but that can be removed if you prefer. You will have use of the kitchen (and my dishes and cookware, etc.), shared bathroom and living room. Fridge and freezer are small but fine for a busy person. There is no dishwasher.
The landmarked, leafy Tudor City complex is located in front of the United Nations campus and a short walk to Grand Central. It is convenient to the 4,5,6, 7 and S subway lines, Metro North, M15 bus to East Side hospitals, L. I. and the airports. Nabe has tons of restaurants, food shops and a Greenmarket.
You must have a full-time job. I work at home much of the time and like quiet to write in.
Must love cats! I have two that I got from a shelter.
I'm clean and tidy but not a neat freak. I steer clear of processed foods and beauty/household products with chemicals in them.
I'm high energy but pretty chill and I'm looking for someone who gets the roommate thing: cheerful, considerate, respectful of my things, open to the normal give-and-take that comes with living in a shared space. Occasional over-night guests okay but I never want to feel as though I have two roommates. Please come take a look.
