Hi All!
I'm looking for someone who would be interested in renting the other room in the apartment that I am leasing for next year. The apartment is in a great location! The place is just a few minutes walking distance from Time Square and (for those of you who like a bit of nature) Central Park. There are also tons of different restaurants (Thai, Indian, Italian, Mexican, and many more) and bars. The apartment is close to many different subway lines (E, C, N, R, W, 1) that are within 5 minutes walking distance.

Ideally, I'm looking for someone who would be interested in signing a lease for a year and the rent would be 1665 (that includes water). However, I am open to subletting. The apartment already has the living room and kitchen furniture. The building includes a laundry room, intercom, and an elevator. Unities that would be paid outside of the monthly rent would be heat/gas and Wifi, which they would cost around an extra 100 each month. There is an application fee of 20, which is the only fee that you pay, so no broker fee! The lease would be for one year and start on September 1st. Right now, the room is set up with a queen size bed, small desk and shelving storage unit. The furniture is included.

A little about me, I'm a working professional that works Monday thru Friday. Also, I usually try to make the apartment feel cozy, so I decorate for the fall and winter time. Hopefully that doesn't bother you.

I would say I'm open-minded, laid-back, and easy to get along with. I like to keep the place clean especially the shared space. I swear I am not like an obsessive neat freak but I am really looking for someone that is willing to help with cleaning the shared living area. I would like to get along with my new roommate. If they are interested, during movie night some wine or go out for dinner. Or, that's not your thing and you're a private person I'll respect that. I do have a pet guinea pig but he mainly stays in my room.
