Hello,

I have a 5 bedroom 2 bath duplex in Little Italy. I pay for utilities and internet.

I have a large apartment and am permitted two monthly roommates according to NYC's outdated law so the other two bedrooms are offered on airbnb.

I have four furnished bedrooms available for short term or longer beginning January 2018. I prefer someone who cleans up after themselves especially the bathtub.



Caveats are: I don't have a washing machine. The laundromat is around the corner and across the street on the nearest corner. And, I don't cook in the apartment so I did not turn on the gas stove which I think is safer with roommates. I have a new microwave, toaster oven and electric kettles.

I am a straight (gay friendly) 47-year old Chinese American female.

The unit is three flights up from the ground floor, laundromat on Hester Street not in the building nor in the apartment. No intercom.

The available bedrooms each have a table, chair and a queen size bed.

Living room has a roku tv, futon couch and coffee table. Students would be fine and we are a short walk to NYU.
and I am installing locks on the closet doors.

I ask everyone to pay through airbnb because it means we are both protected and there is no deposit collected - your total monthly expense should not exceed the stated requested rent of $1660 and I will pay the fee which means you do not have to pay for utilities and internet. The dates are also determined by the roommate through that method.

The best thing is the location on Mott Street North of Canal. It's close to train stations and you can walk to many cool parts of the city.

I prefer non smoking roommates and no pets. I don't have overnight guests and would hope to find reasonable respectable roommates in that respect - nothing crazy and no drugs please.
