Room Available in Waterside Plaza (Midtown East) - Flexible Move-in

I'm looking for someone to take over my room in a 3-bedroom apartment at Waterside Plaza (around 1st Ave & 25th St., Kips Bay / Midtown East).

Rent: $1,900/month + utilities
Security deposit: None.

The room is available starting in early July. The sublease is through one of my roommates and runs until late February 2027, with the possibility of renewal.

--About the apartment--

The room is furnished with a full-size bed, desk, wardrobe, dresser, lamps, and storage. Some furniture can be removed or replaced if needed. It is a legal flex bedroom with individual heating and A/C controlled by its own thermostat.

The apartment includes:
- Fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, air fryer, coffee machine, blender, SodaStream, and more)
- Smart TV
- Printer/scanner
- High-speed internet
- Plenty of storage

--About the roommates--

You'll be living with two roommates:

- M36 (gay, working in IT)
- M23 (straight, studying and working in IT)

They are friendly, respectful, and easy to live with, and they keep a peaceful home. They don't smoke or use drugs. The apartment is LGBT-friendly, immigrant-friendly, and neurodivergent-friendly. They primarily speak English and Brazilian Portuguese at home, and one roommate also speaks French.

There is one cat and one friendly large dog in the apartment.

You'll share the bathroom with only one roommate.

The building is served by the M34A shuttle, with nearby M15, M15 SBS, M23, and M9 bus lines. Waterside Plaza also offers a free weekday shuttle to Grand Central and Union Square during peak commuting hours.

The East River Ferry is just a short walk away, providing convenient service to Midtown, Downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and other waterfront destinations.
